Tunnel barn farm is now in the books and although it was a challenging day it remained an enjoyable days fishing
Despite the fish not really feeding Baz still managed a cracking weight of 70lb 3oz giving Baz the win on the day, Dom took the section by default with 43lb 10oz, Daz was 3rd with 37lb 3oz (I'm i'm sure we'll hear about the 20lb fish he lost at the end, if he landed it he would have beat Dom etc etc etc for the next 6 months at least) and finally Dan with 12lb 8oz.
The next section was won by Karlos with 48lb 7oz which being honest is a miracle given that Karl was pegged next to mad Mick. second in the section was Michael with 39lb 5oz, 3rd and a golden peg win for Mad Mick with 12lb 2oz and Ian completed the section but did not weigh in
The 3rd section was a cracking win for Ratchet with a respectable 55lb 3oz, Clive was second with 43lb dead, Micky T was 3rd with 39lb dead and Neil completed the section but did not weigh
The last section was won by yours truly with an amazing performance given it was the worst peg on the lake, but despite this true class still shone through and I finished with 32lb 7oz to take the section win, Simon finished second with 24lb 7oz, Craig 3rd with 20lb 14oz and Harvey completed the section with 15lb 7oz
Special shout out and well done to Harvey & Dan on their first matches - you both fished well and look forward to seeing you on the other matches
Next up is lake 3 at Maikins - if you are planning on fishing please post a reply in the forum by no later than Saturday 20th.
